It is great as advertised! Course are pre-loaded with no need to download for color layout. It was very easy to set up, the menu is easy to use and navigate, the color layout is accurate and gives you a full view of the hole. I liked the scoring analysis, shot tracker and distance marker features too.
Regarding the satellite imagery and the flyover, these features will be available for download on May 31 satellite and June 30 flyover according to the Sonocaddie website and Customer Service. If the course you want had full functionality on the V, they will have the satellite and flyover features available according to Customer Service. By the way, the Customer Service is very responsive as well.

The Satellite is OK, but a bit dark in full sunlight. This is not an issue in Color Layout. Regarding your final question, you can do the anypoint on the Color Layout. I hope this helps!
